  • We work with children as young as five years old, and adults into their sixties and seventies. Oral Myofunctional Therapy can benefit both children and adults who snore or have other sleep related disorders. The therapy can be especially beneficial for children who are showing signs of mouth breathing, ADHD, oral habits, and crowded teeth. Working in collaboration with other airway centric professionals is key to guiding palatal and facial growth to possibly prevent serious issues in the future. It’s never too late to improve oral function.

  • OMT can help retrain the muscles of the face and mouth to optimum function. Our goals are to establish and encourage nasal breathing, create a proper lip seal while eating and at rest, optimize the tongues ideal resting posture, and having a functional swallowing pattern.

  • The initial assessment call is complimentary, so you may choose to start there, or you can choose to move ahead to the Comprehensive Evaluation ($200). Once you have scheduled the Comprehensive Evaluation, we will send you a patient portal link to Simple Practice so that you may complete the new patient paperwork and return to us at least 24 hours before your evaluation.


    During your Comprehensive Evaluation, we will review your chief issues or concerns, go over your medical history, and the questionnaires you completed. We may choose to gather other pertinent information via photos or video so that we may observe the facial muscle movements and oral interactions. This appointment will take approximately 90 minutes. We will then review the findings with you and provide you with a treatment plan if you choose to move forward with therapy. Sessions are usually held every two weeks for approximately 45 minutes.

  • Yes, we do see patients online through Simple Practice Telehealth, and in person at our satellite locations.

  • Myofunctional Therapy can range from six to nine months, or more for adults and children. The length of the treatment will have several determining factors, including the issues or chief complaint of the patient, the motivation of the patient, following treatment recommendations of the therapist and other professionals you may be working with.

  • During your Comprehensive Evaluation, you will receive a quote for your therapy package based on an estimate of how many sessions may be required. A pay in full discount is available, as are monthly payment plans. At MyoCraft, we believe that cost should never be a deterrent to receiving treatment. We will do everything we can to find a plan that will work within your budget.

  • MyoCraft Myofunctional Therapy is a fee for service practice. We are not in network with any insurance carriers, but we are happy to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. HSA cards are accepted, and payment plans are available.
